Last Friday marked 2️⃣ years of BDL TYRES LTD 🛞.

We would like to thank everyone for their continued support to us as we start year 3.

We are proud to be the only 100% locally owned, dedicated tyre wholesaler in the Highlands. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿. We intend to continue to invest in our Highland region and give back to the community that supports us. This starts again this month 🤝

With a regular staff totalling over 150+ years of experience, we can offer genuine advice and support with our continued policy going back decades of no pressure sales, cold calling and 100% refusing to up sell budget tyres as mid range tyres!

Despite our slightly old fashioned way of doing business, we thrive upon being able to know our customers by name. We, as a team, never take it for granted.

For clarity. BDL TYRES LTD have no sign written vans. Only white vans, all purchased locally which are all speed limited to 62mph.

After several phone calls over the last few months with complaints of dangerous driving… Which is indeed from another tyre business in town that rather pathetically put our company initials sign written on their vehicles! 🤪

Pretty tiresome having to ask folk to share our page again, however, very important for us to not be associated with dangerous driving in our local community.

Please share away please folks and apologies again for clogging up your newsfeed!

BDL Tyres would like to clarify that Crawford, James and Les are very much still active in the tyre trade!

Recent comments made to garage customers in the north that Crawford has retired and that James and Les are no longer in the trade are complete lies and deceit. 🤥 . Very typical of the continued agenda of big business attempting to hurt local people.

We are delighted to let everyone know that we enter our new warehouse on 13 Harbour Road, Inverness, IV1 1SY from 8am tomorrow (8th July).

Despite the combined efforts of major UK tyre companies, a large PLC Retailer and some local participants….. With the support of our outstanding loyal customers, friends and family we have been able to establish BDL tyres despite the continued efforts of those that wish us to fail.

We return to Harbour Road just 50 yards from where Crawford (Still a huge part of the BDL team) had been selling tyres for over 40 years and when in February was given a matter of minutes to take the pictures of his grandchildren off the walls and exit. Very typical of how big business operate, however, not the kind of treatment the vast majority of people in the Highlands appreciate being associated with!

BDL tyres is registered in Inverness, is 100% Highland family owned and remains committed to supporting local. We would be delighted for any of our customers, friends or family to pop past and see us for a coffee in our new building. Please be assured of a very friendly Highland welcome.

Outstanding service from Martin and all the team at Dicksons of Inverness 👏 👏👏

At Dicksons, we're all about supporting local business, so we were delighted to drop off 3 new Nissan Interstar vans to the team at BDL TYRES LTD this afternoon.

Martin and Dougie were thrilled to hand over the keys to the vans, which were ordered, prepped and delivered in less than 10 days!
