0.059 SECONDS!

After an entire season of racing, sometimes it all comes down to a fraction of a second.

Amanda Anderson and Brendan Maude have enjoyed some fantastic battles throughout the 2026 Caterham Graduates season.

And it seemed rather fitting that they should finish the final race at Brands Hatch separated by just 0.059 seconds.

That's less than six hundredths of a second after a full race around the Indy circuit!

A brilliant example of the close, competitive racing that makes Caterham Graduates such an enjoyable championship.

What a way to finish the season!

🏁 THE FINAL CHEQUERED FLAG - SIGMA 135

One final race around Brands Hatch Indy brought the 2026 Sigma 135 season to a close.

Thomas Gunter led our Alpha 7 drivers home with P6 overall, finishing second among the Championship entrants in the race.

Oscar McCall completed another solid performance in P9, while Lee James and Russell Gunter brought their cars home in P17 and P20.

After the challenges of Friday testing and Saturday's torrential rain, it was a welcome change to finish the season racing in dry, bright conditions.

Well done to all four drivers for completing the final weekend of the year! 👏

🏁 ONE LAST RACE - SIGMA 150 🏁

The final Sigma 150 race of the 2026 Caterham Graduates season delivered some excellent performances from the Alpha 7 Motorsport drivers.

William Briant produced another remarkable drive from the back of the field, finishing P6 overall and setting the fastest lap of the race.

James McCall crossed the line P7, securing a Clubmans victory, while Amanda Anderson finished P9 overall and P3 in Clubmans.

For Amanda and Ian, it also meant completing every race of the season in the Alpha 7 Racing championship entry.

A fitting end to a competitive year of Sigma 150 racing, with plenty of close battles right through to the final chequered flag.

📺 CATERHAM RACING ON SKY SPORTS F1! 📺

What a way to finish the 2026 Caterham Graduates season!

Sunday afternoon's final Sigma 150 and Sigma 135 races at Brands Hatch were broadcast live on Sky Sports F1 as part of the BRSCC Formula Ford Festival.

Close racing, competitive grids and plenty of action around the Indy circuit, all showcased to a wider motorsport audience.

For our Alpha 7 Motorsport drivers, it was another race to concentrate on, even with the cameras watching!

A change in conditions brought a fresh challenge for our Caterham Graduates drivers at Brands Hatch on the Sunday.

In the Sigma 150 race, William Briant once again started from the pit lane and delivered another extraordinary recovery drive to finish P8 overall.

Amanda Anderson brought the Alpha 7 Racing car home in P11, while Charles Elliott finished P14.

Unfortunately, James McCall's race ended prematurely following a water pump failure.

In the Sigma 135 race, Thomas Gunter was back on the pace, finishing P8 overall and setting the fastest lap in the Championship classification.

Lee James made progress to P11 overall, with Oscar McCall P14 and Russell Gunter P22.

With one final race remaining, there was still everything to play for on track.

☀️☀️☀️ Is that actually sunshine?

After two days of rain, spray, standing water and gusting winds, Sunday morning at Brands Hatch brought a rather welcome change.

Blue skies!

The Sigma 150 drivers still faced damp conditions for their morning race, but the circuit continued to improve, with the Sigma 135 race taking place on a dry track.

Suddenly, we were talking about dry-weather setups rather than how to get another pair of race gloves dry!

And with two more races to come for each class, there was still plenty of action ahead.

🏁 A little rain didn't stop Oscar!
Some drivers spend a wet race wishing for sunshine. Oscar McCall seemed quite happy with the conditions!

After looking increasingly confident during Friday's very wet testing, Oscar carried that momentum into Saturday's Sigma 135 race.

Starting P14, he worked his way through the field to finish an impressive **P8 overall**, gaining six places in difficult conditions.

Another encouraging performance from one of our developing drivers, demonstrating growing confidence, racecraft and the ability to make progress when conditions are far from straightforward.

🌧️ Fastest lap and some unfinished business!

Sometimes the result doesn't tell the whole story. Thomas Gunter was absolutely flying in Saturday's Sigma 135 race at Brands Hatch.

In extremely challenging wet conditions, Thomas was running with the leading pack and set the fastest lap of the race, a remarkable 1:04.273.

Unfortunately, a lock-up at Paddock Hill Bend sent him into the gravel, bringing his race to a premature end.

A disappointing result, but an impressive demonstration of pace and confidence in conditions that caught out plenty of drivers. And Thomas wasn't finished showing us what he could do!
