Sensor location decides how well your ECU reads the engine. Coolant temp in the head, IAT in the intake tract, wideband b**g in the primary. Each one placed where it sees actual conditions rather than a lagged average. That decision, made before the engine goes in, is worth more than an extra hour on the dyno.

Puma Defender owners, I am about to spoil your life.

Because once you’ve driven an LS3 + 6L80 swap, a stock Defender feels like it’s towing its own sadness.

These photos are from and this is exactly the standard you want to see. Clean bay, proper packaging, the sort of install that looks like it belongs there. They rebuild LS3s and do complete installs, and we supply various parts to support these conversions and make sure they actually work as a system, not a pile of receipts.

If you want your Defender to start, idle, pull, cruise, and behave like a modern vehicle, this is the move.
