🚐 2023 Peugeot Partner – Engine Fault

This Peugeot Partner came to us with an engine fault warning on the dash, so we booked it in for a full diagnostic assessment.

We found the van was just outside its manufacturer’s warranty and diagnosed several issues with the AdBlue/emissions system, including the need for genuine DPF/SCR and AdBlue components.

Once repaired, the vehicle needed its adaptations reset to tell the van that new components had been fitted.

💻 We also found a software update was available and, thanks to our genuine Peugeot dealer diagnostic tool, we were able to carry this out too.

So the customer got the diagnosis, repair, programming and software update all completed in one visit — saving them a trip to the manufacturer!

Our Thursday was made! ❤️🇳🇱

Back in November, we had the pleasure of helping a lovely customer from Holland who had a split brake pipe shortly after getting off the ferry in Harwich while on holiday.

Fast forward to today, and he was back across the water — and because we’re only a short distance from the ferry, he popped in to see us with the most thoughtful thank-you gift. 🥰

He’d picked up some freshly baked Dutch bread (a delicious, sweet brioche-style loaf coated in sugar) just before getting on the ferry in Holland and brought it straight to us. Needless to say, the whole team loved it! 😋

It was genuinely lovely to see him again and to know that he remembered us after all this time. Moments like this are exactly why we love what we do.

We’re always proud to help people who are travelling through Harwich, whether they’re just arriving off the ferry or getting ready to head home. Knowing that the first thing they find when they arrive is someone friendly, helpful and trustworthy means a lot to us.

🚗⚡ Another EV repaired at Ramsey Hill Garage Ltd! ⚡🚗

We recently took on an electric vehicle repair for another garage after the customer was experiencing a vibration issue. Following a full diagnosis, we identified the fault as the electronic brake servo.

The repair involved fitting a genuine Volkswagen replacement part, but the job didn’t stop there. The new brake servo also required programming using the genuine Volkswagen dealer diagnostic tool—specialist equipment we’re proud to have here at Ramsey Hill Garage Ltd.

🚗⚡ Tesla in the workshop today with a very loud suspension creak whenever the steering wheel was turned.

After carrying out our diagnostics, we traced the fault to a worn ball joint in the suspension arm. We sourced the replacement part and completed the repair the very same day, getting the vehicle back on the road quickly and quietly.
