Have you ever missed out on a job, training opportunity, college course or even a social activity because you couldn't get there?

Maybe public transport is too expensive, unreliable or simply doesn't go where you need it to. Perhaps learning to drive feels like the only option, but that's not affordable either.

Transport shouldn't be a barrier to opportunity.

The Insight to Impact Collective is carrying out independent research into how transport affects young people across England, and they want to hear about YOUR experiences.

🎉 21 YEARS OF VICKY’S DRIVING TUITION! 🧡💚

21 years!! How did that happen?!
What an absolutely amazing journey it’s been. I’ve met some incredible people, had opportunities I could never have imagined and been lucky enough to do some pretty awesome things along the way.

I wanted to do something a little different to celebrate this birthday.
Sustainability is a huge part of my business and something I’m really passionate about, so I’ve decided to give a little something back.
I’ve made a donation to Lynnfield Primary School, the school I went to myself and where, until recently, I had the privilege of being a governor.
This my favourite bit... I’ve asked the children to decide what to do with it! 🌱
The school’s Eco Warriors are going to come up with ideas for something sustainable. Maybe planting trees, creating a vegetable patch, visiting Saltholme, buying water butts or something completely different!
I can’t wait to see what they come up with.
It might be a small gesture, but hopefully it’ll make a difference and encourage the children to think about sustainability and the world around them.

21 years in business, thousands of miles, lots of learners, plenty of laughs and so many memories.
I’m still incredibly proud to call myself a driving instructor, and I still love what I do! 🧡

Here’s to whatever the next chapter brings!

🚗 Think you’re too good a driver to need a seatbelt?
Not wearing a seatbelt significantly increases your risk of being killed in a collision.
Around 1 in 4 car occupants killed on Britain’s roads in 2025, where seatbelt use was known, weren’t wearing one.

I get to do some awesome things in my career!
I’ve been incredibly lucky to have some amazing opportunities, meet inspiring people, visit fantastic places and be involved in things I never imagined I would be 🧡
I love every minute of it!
For the next three days, I get to do the bit I love the most. Teach people to drive! 🚗
No matter what opportunities come my way, what titles I hold or what exciting projects I get involved in, this will always be my favourite part.
Every single opportunity I’ve had has come from one thing.
I’m a driving instructor.
It’s where it all started, it’s what opened all those doors, and after 21 years, it’s still what I love doing most.
I wouldn’t change that for the world! 🧡
I only get to do what I love because of a lot I have the most amazing learner drivers in the whole world, so thank you all for letting me do what I love. It’s a privilege and I don’t forget it 🧡

Its a massive honour to be a trustee of The Road Safety Trust and be part of the wider road safety community.

Some really interesting speakers, discussions and insights into the work being done to improve road safety across the UK.
Great to catch up with familiar faces, make new connections and continue learning!

There’s so much more to learning to drive than just the time you spend in the car!
I’ve teamed up with Driving Schools Online to offer learning e-modules that you can work through in your own time.
It’s real driving footage, clear explanations and interactive quizzes to help you understand different driving situations, build your confidence and prepare for your next lesson.
You can go back over things you’ve already covered, get a head start on new topics and learn at your own pace when you’re ready.
The more you understand before getting behind the wheel, the more you can get out of your lessons.
It’s not about replacing your driving instructor, it’s about making the most of the time you have together.
