🚗 DRIVING TEST CHANGES FROM TODAY – 9 JUNE 2026 🚗
If you’re learning to drive, there are some important changes to the DVSA driving test booking system that you need to know about:
✅ You must book your own driving test
Learners are now responsible for booking, changing, swapping, or cancelling their test.
✅ Only 2 booking changes allowed
You can only change your test appointment twice before needing to cancel and rebook.
✅ Restrictions on changing test centres
If you move your test, it can only be transferred to one of the three nearest test centres to your original booking.
✅ Third-party booking bots are banned
Automated booking services and bots can no longer be used.
✅ You must confirm you’re the learner
When booking, you’ll need to confirm that you’re the person taking the test and provide your own email address.
📅 These changes come into effect today, 9th June 2026.
