SAVE THE DATE - More information coming soon, July 11th and 12th you are all invited, old racers, new racers, no longer racers, want to be racers, join us in celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Eastbourne Electric Car Club, and the 20th Anniversary of the on-road track build. Note, we aren't exactly confirmed on the age of the club, but lets celebrate :) Saturday will be Off Road racing on an old school grass track, followed by On-road racing of various classes on the Sunday. Both days supported with probably the best track side food venue.

With the weather hopefully starting to get better, and the evenings starting to warm up we hope a few more drivers are going to be getting back on track. A gentle reminder that your membership expired on December 31st, so non-member rates will apply upon your return unless you get joined up. Same goes for your BRCA memberships, a few drivers we expect to be returning soon have yet to renew.

Last Wednesday night race of the year, you know what that means.

Now that the BRCA AGM has been and gone you are able to renew your BRCA membership in readiness for 2026 racing season. Adult price has gone up to £30 and there is a disclaimer regarding dormant accounts.

Many of you probably have not logged into the BRCA website since you renewed for this season. Since then there has been some issues with the BRCA website requiring the resetting of all member passwords, so your old password will not work, you will need to request a reset link.

IF YOU CAN LOG IN TO THE BRCA WEBSITE WITH A PASSWORD THAT WORKS, YOU DO NOT NEED TO RESET YOUR PASSWORD.

To make this process as smooth as possible, you will need the following information in readiness, email address registered with the BRCA AND your username, they are different.

Step 1, go to the login page and click the forgotten username link, enter your email and you will get sent your username, as you don't remember what it is.

Step 2, go back to the login page and click the forgotten password link.

Step 3, click the reset link in the email, it will prefill the reset code and here you need your username.

Step 4, add your new password.

Done, your account password is reset and you are free to renew your membership should you wish to.

Now the disclaimer, if you do not at the very least reset your password before the end of the year, your account will be deemed dormant and deleted from the website in January. This is to cleanse and secure the database of members.

You will not be able to revive your account and your membership number will be gone. You can of course join again by creating a brand new account.

Remember you need to be a BRCA member before your first race meeting at any club for 2026 your BRCA membership expires on 31st December 2025.

If you do not receive your reset emails from the BRCA, open a support ticket with them.
