This yacht came to us needing a bit of a refresh, including work below the waterline, hull polishing and some repairs to the gelcoat in the cockpit.

As GRP repair specialists, we can assess everything from minor damage and gelcoat repairs to more extensive structural issues, developing a clear plan and carrying out the work to a high standard. We also specialise in gelcoat repairs and colour matching, combining technical experience with a real eye for detail.

Our yacht maintenance services cover a wide range of work, including the removal and refitting of keels, rudders, propellers, seacocks and stanchions, along with antifouling, polishing, anodes and general yacht care.

Here's just one of our keel refurbs!

This one involved removing the existing rust and treating the keel with Fertan before applying coats of epoxy primer.

We then carried out some light filling and fairing to get the surface right, followed by further epoxy coatings and, finally, the antifoul.

A few stages involved, but the end result is a keel that's properly treated, protected and ready to go back in the water.
