Two generation family run business with over 40 years experience. We are a two generation family run business with over 40 years experience.

Our services offer all types of body repairs, full resprays, restoration projects and detailing and finishing. We mostly provide services for car restoration to owners with classic cars. Our car restoration services specialises mainly on Ford's however we do provide services for any classic cars.

Ex Derbyshire Police car Sapphire Cosworth, that’s been with us a full restoration now finished and ready for collection.

This certainly has been a labour of love for us and our customer, we have quite literally saved this car from the clutches of death!

We are very very happy with how it’s came out and thankful that Martyn the owner has been very invested in the project, finding a lot of original parts and also understanding that the process when taken to this level takes a lot of time.

I’ve added pictures of how she came to us over two years ago and also pictures of the full process, missing out a few because I had 100s.

It has been a pleasure bringing this car back to life and getting it back on the road where it belongs.

Rs500 welding repairs all done now, cleaned all up and into Novol for classic cars anti corrosive epoxy primer.

A lot of labour has already gone into this project to get it to this stage and we are very happy so far, engine bay to be taken back to bare metal next and put into epoxy before we turn our attention to the outside etc.

Bills white Es**rt Cosworth that was with us for an underside restoration now finished and collected by Series One Recovery Services and taken back to a very happy customer.

We are now turning our attention to Nicks imperial blue Es**rt Cosworth that’s also with us for an underside restoration, needing attention in all the usual places, having had the sills repaired in the past, not to a particularly good standard, we will be rectifying these, but luckily apart from that, it’s never been welded which makes our job easier.

A very long overdue update on the ex Derbyshire Police sapphire Cosworth that’s with us for a full restoration.

I’ve realised there’s been a lack of posts about this car for some reason! It’s been a long winded restoration, but is certainly coming together now.

With all the paintwork now done and now pretty much mechanically built up, she will soon be back on the road.

We will keep the updates more frequent on this restoration as we continue.

Just for the record we will be having the cam cover skimmed, the machine shop we us is currently on holiday 😅

The Rs500 has arrived!

With us for a full restoration, she’s certainly looking a little sorry for herself!

Although she certainly needs a lot of work, it’s very very original, having never had any welding in the past, which makes our job easier, we haven’t got to remove any other nasty patches before starting the welding process.

She’s now stripped and on the rotisserie ready for a thorough steam cleaning to get any wax oyl etc off.

Very very excited to start this restoration and privileged to be entrusted once again with such a classic.

Bills Es**rt Cosworth that’s with us for a underside restoration, now going back together and looking fantastic.

Whilst the car is with us we are doing a few areas of paintwork on it as well, including the well known area of corrosion that most es**rt Cosworths suffer with around the fuel filler.

Very happy with how the project is going so far and as always very pleased to be entrusted with these amazing classics.

Neil’s stunning Es**rt Cosworth back with us all the way from Jersey.

We did an underside restoration on this car 2 years ago and he’s brought her back to us for a general service and check over, still looking as good as it did the day it left us.

Whilst it was with us we did a few areas of paintwork including corrosion to the tailgate and repainted the spoilers due to blistering, which is very common on these cars.

We were very pleased that Neil chose to drive from jersey to bring his car back to us for the work, shows us that all the effort we go to, to please our customers is working, in his words he wouldnt use anyone else, which was very nice to hear 🙂

We’ve certainly hit the busiest period we’ve ever experienced, we aren’t complaining but it’s meant I’ve been a bit slow updating our page.

This car is a pretty interesting one so I thought I’d do a post about it….

A genuine Es**rt Cosworth WRC car rallied by some of the top drivers in period and we’ve been entrusted with it, giving her a full bare metal repaint in diamond white.

She’s certainly got a few battle scars but that only adds character and tells the story of its history.

As you can see a lot of hours have already gone into this project and we are excited to get some colour on it in the not to distant future.

Now into novol for classic cars hybrid high build primer ready for more blocking.
