Made Calum Johns’ day in more than one way today - passed his test 🥳🎉👌 with a lovely smooth drive! And whilst leaving the test centre walked alongside the whole of the Ipswich Town football team who are playing his beloved Pompey tonight 🤩🤣 an awesome day all round! Let’s hope they get the win tonight to top it off perfectly 🤞

Another fabulous pass today for my very shy pupil ☺️ safe to say this person has had quite a journey learning to drive-it’s been tough at times but they have shown amazing determination, brilliant self awareness and today’s result shows they were absolutely ready to take their test 🤩👌
I am super proud of them, and very grateful to have had the chance to spend time with one of the nicest people I’ve ever met 🥳🥰 I know there’ll be no stopping them now!! Enjoy it, and stay safe 🚗🚙🚗 xx

Big congratulations to cool, calm & collected Zak Bomford for a great pass this morning with only four driving faults 🎉🙌😃 earlier start than expected due to crazy traffic but we made it in plenty of time & had a fab drive in the lovely weather! ‼️Driving instructor colleagues, parents of past current or future learner drivers & anyone else with an opinion - PLEASE take the time to complete this survey. There are some very significant changes proposed that require our input‼️

Seeks feedback on proposals to introduce mandatory requirements that learner drivers must meet before taking a practical driving test for a category B licence.

Have you checked your tyres this week?

Check for:

- Tread depth: at least 1.6mm 📏
- Pressure: correct on all wheels 🚗
- Condition: tyres should be free from cracks, bulges or cuts ✂️

Make sure you checking before you set off – warm or hot tyres may give the wrong pressure reading.

Not sure what your tyre pressure should be? Many cars have a sticker on the passenger door, in the glove box or on the fuel cap – or check your vehicle’s handbook.

And – of course – check the Highway Code to make sure you stay safe on the roads 👇
