What to sow and plant this November 🌱🍂
The days may be shorter, but there’s still growing to be done! Think hardy veg, fresh leaves under cover and bulbs for a colourful spring. 🌷
This month you can sow and plant:
🌱 Broad beans ‘Aquadulce’ - in milder, sheltered gardens
🧄 Garlic cloves
🌿 White mustard - for windowsill pickings
🥬 Rocket ‘Buzz’ - under cover in a greenhouse or tunnel
🌿 Parsley - indoors or protected
🌷 Tulips
💛 Daffodils / Narcissi
💜 Alliums
🧡 Fritillaria imperialis
🍂 Top tip: Let conditions guide you. Plant outdoors while the soil is workable, avoiding frozen or waterlogged ground. For indoor sowings, choose a bright spot and expect slower growth as daylight decreases.
