🔧 Diagnostic & Calibration Win: 2018 Mercedes A180d (W177)

This 1.5 CDI (OM608) came in with chronic cutting out and active countdown/warning lights following a failed software delete elsewhere.

The Issue:

Modern Bosch MD1CS006 ECUs use digital SENT protocol airflow sensors and complex physical air-modeling. A previous "delete" file corrupted these airflow calculation tables, causing the ECU to fail safety plausibility checks (U060F) and shut the engine down immediately.

The Fix:
✅Restored to factory software on the bench using Autotuner.

✅Carried out full diagnostic resets on the NOx, DPF, and SCR start-lock systems to clear locked EEPROM flags.

✅Applied a precision custom solution developed by the engineering team at Viezu Technologies, keeping the digital airflow model 100% intact while applying an EGR, DPF and EGR Solution along with our Vblend tune to improve MPG.

✅Verified live telemetry—boost, rail pressure, and MAF readings are spot-on with zero fault codes.

Result? Clean dash, smooth idle, crisp throttle response, and another job sorted properly.

Audi A6 2.0 TDI – Proper Diagnosis Over Quick Fixes 🔧

Another troublesome A6 in the workshop with DPF issues following a blown turbo.

The customer had previously paid another tuner for a DPF solution, but it was done completely wrong. 🫣

When we pulled the ECU data and checked it with our partner Viezu Technologies, we discovered the previous tuner had simply wiped the fault codes (DTCs) and adjusted AdBlue tables—leaving the DPF system untouched.

Because the car couldn't regenerate properly, the DPF completely choked up with soot and ash, creating excessive backpressure that ultimately destroyed the turbo. 💥

What we did:
Restored the factory ECU file & reset accumulated ash values

✅Carried out comprehensive live-data logging

✅Applied a custom calibration addressing DPF, EGR, and AdBlue tables properly

✅Flashed Viezu’s BlueOptimize software to improve fuel efficiency

The Result:
Faults cleared, live data verified, and the smoking issue completely resolved.
✅ Correct custom ECU calibration (no blind code deleting)
✅ DPF, EGR & AdBlue software solutions

💡 We recently had this MK7 Golf in for some additional lights added 💡

Customer wanted the front light bar wired to their headlights and also a set of strobes fitted into the front grill 💯

We wired the led light bar to the headlights in such a way to prevent extra load on the headlights themselves.

We also wired the strobes to a on/off toggle switch and a push button momentary switch to change the different modes of the strobes 👌🏻

🔊 Citroen Xantia Fog Light Repair 🔊

This customer Xantia was in with us recently for some speaker upgrades and the foglights were also not working at that time.

We got it booked back in for us to take a look 👀

We checked switches, relays and fuses which were all intact. This led us to testing the wires further.

Upon further checks we found the wires to have extreme corrosion so no power was being passed into the foglight connectors, and in turn a failed connection in the wheel arch 👀

Instead of a temporary patch that would fail in a few months, we did it right:

✔️ Stripped back the rotted intermediate plugs
✔️ Custom-fabricated and routed a fresh, heavy-duty Y-harness
✔️ Fully soldered, glue-lined heat-shrink sealed, and sleeved against road grime
✔️ Retained 100% factory switch and relay operation keeping with the OEM look of this classic!

Both fogs are back burning full brightness! 💡✨

2014 1.2tsi Polo 110bhp 📈

The customer had recently fitted a full straight through exhaust with decat downpipe and upgraded the air intake with an induction kit. 🔊

This car already sounded pretty good 💥

The customer requested extra power and pops on deceleration 💥

We applied our Vperf tune and added pops and bangs on deceleration which really adds to this little car and also DTC removal for o2 sensor faults✅

May not be to everyone's taste but the smile on the customer's face after, said it all 😎
