McPhaden Motorsport I plan to update this as frequently as possible to track our progress in the Scottish Mini Cooper Cup and the Scottish C1 Cup.

🏁 Exciting News from Mcphaden Motorsport! 🏁

We’re delighted to announce that we are extending our partnership with J & I Piperwork Services to bring a third car into the Mcphaden Motorsport team for the remainder of the season.

The car will make its debut at the July round, with Mark taking the wheel for that weekend before joining Adam in future rounds as we continue to expand our presence on the grid.

This is all part of our long-term plan as we build towards the prestigious Race of Remembrance in November in Wales. An incredible amount of work has gone into overhauling the car, and we’re pleased to say it’s already looking right on the pace.

We can’t wait to get to July and take another step forward in strengthening the team’s position and ambitions for the future.

A huge thank you to all of our valued partners for making this possible, especially J & I Piperwork Services, SPL Plastics, and Endurance Engines and Racing Owl Motorsport for their continued support throughout the season.

Round 2 of the SMRC C1 Cup delivered a strong weekend for the team, with myself showing excellent pace and consistency throughout. After securing P2 in Race 1, I went one step further in Race 2 to take an impressive victory and stand on the top step with P1. A fantastic result and a well-earned reward for the hard work put in by the whole team.

Teammate Scott unfortunately suffered some bad luck with time penalties across the weekend, but there were still plenty of positives to take away. Scott showed strong pace throughout every session, with his lap times consistently improving as the weekend progressed. The experience gained will no doubt boost his confidence heading into the next round.

A huge thank you as well to Simon and Michael for all of their support across the race weekend — it’s massively appreciated by all of us

We’re also looking forward to having John back with us for Round 3 after he unfortunately missed the opening two rounds while away on holiday… lucky man! 😄

Attention now turns to Round 3 in July, where the team will be aiming to carry this momentum forward.

Boom!

First race of the season and I came away with the win after battling from 4th to 1st in the first few laps - Scott started 8th and came home with the newcomers win so both on the top step of the podium🏁

Great start to our season and massive thanks to Simon and Michael for the work between practice and race 1 for fine tuning.

Onto race 2 as Scott’s on reverse grid pole and I’m 7th!

Great first test day of the season before the Season Opener in under two weeks time!

Great to have the cars on track after being all rebuilt and Scott’s first time in a C1 which was very impressive and so was his times throughout the day!

Great progress from myself as changed a few things and it’s pushing us in the right direction!

Thanks to John, Simon and Michael for their help today - good to have the squad back together!

Onto the first round in under two weeks - hopefully be a successful one!

Great day testing yesterday for Stuartt McPhadenn at Oulton park as getting the car shaken down after the fiery mishap at Cadwell 🔥

Fantastic Qualifying as we are on pole for race 1 by over 4 tenths ahead of the next car!

Great work by Simon and Greg to get the car back to working ways!
