Last week I put up a memory from a few years ago of the C**k and Bottle public house where there used to be a monthly meet on the first monday of the month

At our recent event at Christchurch Quay the organiser of that event updated me that he and his wife are holding monthly meets at the Halfway Inn, Norden, BH20 5DU on the first thursday of the month starting at 6.00pm (18.00 hours)

The public house is on the road from Wareham to Corfe Castle

If you require food then it is best to book it in advance as the restaurant gets busy

Many classic car enthusiasts will already know Philip so if you wondered where a good old natter and noggin takes place pop along to the Halfway Inn and say "Hello" to Philip and you will be assured of a warm welcome

Good luck to Barbara and the team on your reopening after the severe flood damage sustained a few months ago and not forgetting the "flying car" that left the road, went through the garden wall, cleared the river and finally came to rest in the beer garden!!!

Yes, it's been a frustrating few months for the management and staff but a lot worse for the customers

A day ticket to Beaulieu was the prize which was gratefully accepted

The final decision was exceedingly hard as there were, as usual, so many contenders

At long last our 2026 season got underway on Christchurch Quay and what a turn out!!!

A big THANK YOU to everyone who turned up and as usual a huge huge THANK YOU SINCERELY from myself and the exhibitors to our terrific team members for their hard work in the heat

We were missing half a dozen of the team today but with a couple of volunteers we surprised ourselves how lively a bunch of OAP's (excluding Gregg who is a mere baby at 64 years of age) can be

Great to be back at Christchurch Quay and guess what . . . we will be doing it all again next sunday from 11.00am until 5.00pm

After a couple of cancellations because of the weather today we finally get to throw back the gate and welcome you to a belated 2026 season

This season all three of our venues begin at 11.00am

Only vehicles registered up until 31st of August 2001 allowed

Oil drip tray required along with £2 in cash entrance fee per vehicle
