The clocks have gone back, and many of us are now driving home in the dark. Here's a 2-minute lights check you can do on your driveway:
Park facing a wall or garage door and switch on your dipped headlights, then full beam. You'll see both reflected back at you. Reverse up to it and press the brake to check your brake lights, or ask someone to watch. Don't forget your indicators and number plate light.
Give your light lenses a wipe too. Winter road grime can make your lights noticeably dimmer.
