We can accommodate up to 10 vehicles simultaneously and our workshop is equipped with dealer-level diagnostic equipment including the Mercedes Benz Star machine and manufacturer-level tools for all German brands. Our team of four dealership-trained technicians holds the UK gold standard Level 3 qualification directly from German manufacturers.

A few simple checks beforehand can make the difference between a pass and a retest:

All exterior lights working — headlights, rear lights, fog lights, indicators
Tyre tread depth above 1.6mm across the central three-quarters of the tyre
No cracks or chips in the windscreen within the driver's line of sight
Brakes feeling responsive with no grinding or squealing sounds
Windscreen wipers clearing cleanly without smearing
Horn in working order

They absorb road impact and keep the vehicle stable, but over time they can crack or break, often without an obvious event. Here is what to look for:

One corner of the vehicle sits noticeably lower than the others
A clunking or banging sound, particularly over speed bumps or potholes
The vehicle pulls to one side
A rough or uncomfortable ride, even on smooth roads

If you notice any of these signs, it is worth having the suspension inspected before a broken spring causes damage to other components or becomes a safety concern.

Warning lights on your German car: what should you actually do? 🚨

The dashboard of a modern German vehicle contains a range of warning indicators. Some require immediate attention, others can wait until your next service. Here is a simple guide.

Red warning lights: Stop driving safely as soon as possible. Red indicates a serious fault that can cause engine or vehicle damage if ignored. This includes oil pressure, coolant temperature and brake system warnings.

Amber warning lights: Book a diagnostic check soon. The vehicle is likely still safe to drive short distances, but the issue needs investigation. This includes engine management, traction control and exhaust warnings.

Blue or green lights: Information only. No action required.
