I has been a driving instructor since 2006 with a higher than average pass rate. I am a "Grade A" DSA approved driving instructor.

I instruct people of all abilities from the most confident to the most nervous pupils, and offer block booking discounts.

Our online booking services will not be available tonight (Friday 30 October) from 6pm to midnight. This is routine maintenance and has no connection with the current issues affecting other web based services.

During this time, it means that:

for driving instructors, your pupils will not be able to book or change tests and you will not be able to access instructor services
for rider and vocational trainers, you will not be able to book or change tests
Theory test services will not be affected.

If you are a busy Mum who sometimes says or does daft things, put your hands up 🙌🏻

🤦🏼‍♀️ My brain was so busy with ideas and inspiration following a great seminar with | just spent 5 minutes looking for my phone while it was in my hands.

😫 Now I just laugh it off, but there was definitely a time when I would have berated myself for "being so stupid".

🗣️ Something I am passionate about in my therapy space with clients is looking at how you talk to yourselt, how unkind you are to yourself and what impossible standards you are measuring yourself against.

☺️ Something I often find is that once people learn to be kinder to themselves, it spreads and they are able to be kinder to others too - and yes this includes your kids

Heard about driving test faults, but not sure what they mean? 🚗

There are 3 categories of faults you can make during your driving test:

A dangerous fault: this involves actual danger to you, the examiner, the public or property.

A serious fault: this is something potentially dangerous.

A driving fault: this is not potentially dangerous, but if you keep making the same fault, it could become a serious fault.

You’ll pass your driving test if you make no more than 15 driving faults and make zero serious or dangerous faults. ✅

Another first time pass today. Well done Liam, passing with only 4 faults, another compliment from the examiner saying it was a great drive apart from a couple of silly mistakes.

Very annoyed at Lexie today, she passed 1st time with only 1driver fault, what was the fault? Bloody show and tell question, she forgot about the ABS warning light on the dash!
Joking aside a great drive in very challenging conditions (it was extremely rainy) and holding all those nerves together. She was praised by the examiner for "faultless drive and perfect maneuver".

September is starting off well so far with another 1st time pass today.
Lois smashed it with only 3 faults gaining a "very nice drive" comment from her examiner.
