The UK's largest vehicle recovery trade exhibition will be returning to Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, from 9th to 10th September 2026!

It will be attracting professionals from across the recovery, transportation, logistics sectors.

They will have the opportunity to attend networking events, see live stage appearances from industry insiders, and see a huge collection of vehicles in four dedicated halls.

To help inform the future development of international vehicle safety regulations, Loughborough University is inviting HGV drivers to complete a survey examining how Vulnerable Road User (VRU) detection systems perform in day-to-day operation.

The survey is open to drivers who:

*Are aged 18 or over.

*Hold a C1 (including C1+E), C or C+E driving licence.

There is currently a global shortage of HGV drivers, with 2.9m truck driver positions remaining unfilled, according to the International Road Transport Union's (IRU) driver shortage survey.

Europe has one of the highest shortage rates, with around 502,000 unfilled truck driver positions, with the situation expecting to worsen with around 660,500 drivers are expected to retire by 2030.

We are looking for a proactive school leaver or recent graduate who is interested in gaining sales (including B2B sales) and administrative experience. No two days are same at the Wallace School of Transport, so you will need to be adaptable and open to learning new skills.

The core responsibilities will be selling HGV driving courses to a wide range of clients, making sure their documentation is complaint with DVLA and DVSA standards, and drafting quotations using CRM software.

A successful applicant will also have the opportunity to create content for our social media channels on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram and help shape our digital communications strategy.

This is a great entry level role for developing highly sought after and transferable skills that will be vital for developing your career!
