🚨🔧 METEOR MOTORSPORT EMERGENCY REPAIR DEPARTMENT! 🔧🚨

Yesterday saw a rather unexpected emergency repair job in the Meteor Motorsport workshop… and this time, it wasn’t a Caterham! 😂

The boss’s office chair finally gave up the fight after years of relentless fat bum plonking! 💥🪑

With the boss in danger of ending up on the floor, the welding gear was fired up, and a few saftey squinting welds later… we’re pleased to report the chair is back in service and faster than ever!🔥😂

💪 That chair isn’t going ANYWHERE now!

🔥 VAUXHALL VX220 — TIME TO GET SET UP! 🔥

This little weapon has just had some serious attention from the team at Raceshocks.uk 🔧🏁

The dampers have been fully serviced, re-valved and re-sprung to suit the car and its intended use.

Now it’s over to the sister company, Meteor Motorsport, to finish the job with a full 4-wheel alignment and corner-weight setup. 📐⚖️

The goal? Get the most out of the new damper setup, balance the car properly and make sure every corner is working as it should.

Because when you’re chasing performance, getting the suspension built right is only half the job…

🏁 HONDA S2000 | ALIGNMENT SETUP 🏁

This S2000 came to us with huge amounts of camber and toe-out, making the car feel nervous, twitchy and far from confidence-inspiring on the road.

We carried out a full alignment setup, bringing the geometry back to where it needed to be and transforming the way the car drives. 🔧

The result? A calmer, more predictable and faster S2000 — with the customer absolutely delighted with the difference. 🙌

Sometimes more aggressive geometry doesn’t mean more performance. Getting the right setup for how you actually use the car is what matters.

Another Lotus Exige through the workshop for a sump swap, full service and comprehensive spanner check.

We don’t just work on the obvious stuff — we go over the car properly to make sure everything is checked, tightened and ready for the road.

Another Caterham finished, checked over and back on the road! 🔧💨

This Super Sport SV has now had the full Meteor Motorsport treatment, including:

🔹 New Nitron dampers built to MMS Digressive linear specification
🔹 Ferodo brake pads
🔹 Motul RBF 660 brake fluid
🔹 Cambelt replacement
🔹 Full service
🔹️Geometry and Corner Weighting
🔹 Final checks and road test

This Beautifully Restored Smart Brabus came to us for alignment.

It sure put up a fight to get right but we got there in the end.

Advised customer on ways to better the setup fpr longevity of tyres, might be a project for winter months with needing to engineer adjustments to the OE setup.

A really nice example though and such nimble fun on the road.
