Just a catch up post as we've been very very busy first month of being in the new unit!

Not only have we been setting up, building the office and putting in ramps ect, we've been straight into the deep end with work smashing it out.

To name some jobs we've done:
Engine replacement on an audi a1 tfsi, with the donor engine fully refreshed with a new timing chain kit, full service and a load of other bits.

Engine rebuild on a 1.2 turbo twingo with a blown head gasket. Full engine refresh on that too and a full service

Mot fail welding repairs on a camper van

Clutch replacement on a Citroën Picasso that literally had no material left on the disc and wouldn't move at all. Dual mass was badly worn too and replaced

Full wet belt replacement and service on a transit van, including sump, timing cover, oil and water pump using all genuine ford parts

And various other jobs like general repairs and servicing, custom exhaust work, ect.

We currently have an mb6 in for a full refurb, everything removed underneath with lots of welding and a full underseal and resto package. A big job but we will post separately on that when its done 😎

We have some amazing jobs and cars lined up, leading upto summer we'll start posting more once we're settled in fully and show the amazing work we do!

We've got some big plans for the future as the business is growing quicker than expected, no job too big or small we'll take it on!

Thank you to all the support from everyone involved including company sponsors and customers, family and friends, ect. Month 1 has been stressful but all for the good.

If you need any work doing, from general repairs to full restorations or even just advice, our inbox is always open to anyone.

Here's to the rest of 2026, watch this space!

Just a quick job we did on a trailer for a customer.

The battery tray support beam was completely rotten, and not even connected on the other side. Not only that the front chassis support beams were so corroded they werent even connected on one side!

The support beams were replaced with stronger and thicker material to last a long time (they were causing creaking before being replaced which has now gone away)

Also the battery tray support beam was completely replaced and lowered at customer request so he can fit a battery cover. Also the other side was connected which was just cut and left to bounce around before.

Goes to show we don't just work on cars and the like, if you need any sort of welding work done and it can fit in our big unit then we'll take it on! 😎

Recent project completed on a customers M sport bmw Z3 🤝

All 4 jacking points were completely rotten out, hidden underneath the outer sill panels. If this was left much longer it would've spread to the floor of the car requiring much more costly repair. The reason why these get so bad is bmw didn't put proper drain holes in the inner sill, which traps moisture.

As some may know it's impossible to buy any repair panels for these, so everything had to be hand fabricated!

The repair was done as oem as possible, with the addition of adding drain channels as a preventative measure. The customer also opted for a very basic strip and underseal package to protect the underside.

The customer will be back with us when we've settled into the new unit for some aftercare and final touches!

If you require any welding or restoration work, big or small, feel free to contact us. Even if it's just for advice, we love to help out as much as possible.

First underseal job of the year completed!

This customers CRZ was in serious need of an underside strip and underseal package, as you can see Honda were very conservative with how much underseal and seam sealer they used from factory. In fact, most seams on this car were not protected at all. If this was left for however many more years down the line it would have needed a fair bit of welding, but thankfully was caught just in time and cleaned up quite well.

The car was completely stripped back to bare metal and all rust/old underseal removed. This is the only correct way to do it and also gives a clear indication if any welding is required. Sometimes rust can be hidden or be worse than it looks on the surface.

With a clean slate, the car is coated in rust convertor to neutralise the metal. After this, the underside is hand painted with corroless glass reinforced primer. This leaves a rustproof, protective primed layer that any moisture or rust can't pe*****te into. This goes on with a few coats over time to make sure it's covered properly.

The seams are then sealed with a factory spec seam sealer. Not the cheap brush on style seam sealer that is prone to shrink and crack when it dries. Only top quality products are used throughout!

After all this is left to cure, then the top coat is sprayed on throughout, making sure not to overspray on anything at all. Brake and fuel lines are left completely paint free to make sure they can be properly monitored over time (and save having an mot advisory).

Finally, after the top coat is cured any box sections and drain holes ect are sprayed with cavity wax to protect them from the inside.

Need to protect your car from any rust and corrosion down the line? Look no further, we are highly competitive and mobile if required. We are so confident in our work we offer a minimum 10 years warranty!

We can also carry out any welding work required, no job too big or too small. Whether it's a quick mot repair or a full on restoration, you can be rest reassured your car is left in the best of hands.

Just thought I'd give a little bit of insight of how an underseal job should be done, and of course this is the steps we follow!

All the old underseal is removed back to bare metal. Sealing on top of old underseal can trap moisture and rust in, which can accelerate corrosion even further.

Any spots showing rust deeper than surface level are cut out and repaired properly (as shown in the photos). No shoddy patching over the top, it's got to be completely cut out and repaired like OEM.

The bare metal is then rust coverted, which can be achieved in a couple of steps. This neutralises the metal and stops corrosion forming under the seal.

Seam sealer is then applied to stop any moisture creeping into seams and eventually rusting. Alot of cars from factory don't have an adequate amount of seam sealer in certain areas. Especially j*p cars!

A quality top coat is then applied to protect everything underneath, and form a barrier from road debris and moisture.

A quality underseal job should at the very least last 10 years or more, with the goal of being lifetime of the car if monitored and done completely.

Need an underseal/underside restoration done on your car? We offer upto a lifetime guarantee on our work depending on the package you choose.

We also offer welding services from mot repairs to full restorations. Whatever your need get in touch!
