Vehicle Dismantler required at The A46 BM Centre
We are the largest BMW & Mini specialists in the East Midlands with over 34 years experience specializing in new & used parts, servicing, mechanical repairs, coding, programming, and retro fits. We are conveniently located 15 minutes from Leicester, Nottingham, Melton Mowbray and just 20 minutes from Newark.
We are seeking a Mechanic/Vehicle Dismantler to join our team of dedicated enthusiastic staff.
Duties of a Vehicle Dismantler :
Removing car parts from accident damaged and recovered vehicles safely and to ensure that they are suitable for re-sale to the trade and public
Checking parts prior to removal to ensure fit for purpose and resale
Dismantling 1-2 BMW's / Mini's per week ensuring compliance with environmental and health and safety policy and rules
Maintaining good housekeeping practices ensuring area is always clean and tidy
Ensuring machinery and equipment is safe and maintained in working order - preventative maintenance
What we would expect from the applicant.
Must have previous experience in vehicle mechanics and have access to their own tools
Level 2 in Vehicle Mechanics preferred but not essential
Reliable with a strong work ethic and demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Health and Safety conscious
Previous experience forklift driving is considered an advantage but not essential as training will be given
Working hours Mon - Fri 8:30 - 5:30
Alternative Saturdays 8:30 - 1:00.
Salary negotiable depending upon experience and skill level.
Room for progression for the right candidate.

Service Advisor required at The A46 BM Centre

We are well-established and busy Independent BMW & Mini Specialists. Specialising in servicing, mechanical repairs, coding, programming, and retro fits. We are conveniently located 15 minutes from Leicester, Nottingham, Melton Mowbray and just 20 minutes from Newark.

We are seeking a Service Advisor to join our team of dedicated enthusiastic staff.

Duties of a Service Advisor :

Book work into the workshop services and repairs diary
Answer customer calls and emails
Book courtesy cars out and in again
Update customers on work required and work in progress
Take care of customers needs & requirements
Upsell servicing & maintenance schedules
What we expect from a Service Advisor:

Must have previous experience working in a main dealer or independent garage as a service advisor
A knowledge of the BMW & Mini servicing
Full UK driving license
Well presented well mannered
Excellent customer service skills
Drive and ambition
Ideally we are looking for an euthanasic individual who can grow as the business grows.

Monday to Fridays 8.30 - 5.30pm Alternative Saturdays 8.30 - 1.00 pm

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £19,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
