Job Opportunity – Experienced Automotive Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced automotive mechanic to join our highly skilled classic car restoration team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a well-established restoration business specialising in prestige and classic vehicles. While we are primarily looking for an experienced mechanic, we would also consider a newly qualified apprentice who demonstrates strong potential and a willingness to learn. Ongoing in-house training will be provided to support professional development.

The Role

As a valued member of our expert team, you will be responsible for contributing to the high-quality restoration projects our business is known for.

Your duties will include:

Mechanical restoration of classic vehicles

Servicing and repair of customers’ prestige classic cars

Working predominantly on classic Jaguars, alongside other marques

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience as an automotive mechanic (preferred)

Strong mechanical knowledge and attention to detail

Passion for classic and prestige vehicles

Ability to work to a high standard both independently and as part of a team

Another excellent complete project car.
Suitable for a minor restoration to get it back on the road or for a full nut and bolt restoration.
With the added benefit of the IRS (Independent Rear Suspension) already being refurbished.
This car can be taken away as is or left with us for your bespoke restoration
Currently LHD but can be converted to RHD if required

Thought I would share some of the cars we currently have in stock

This first example is an 1969 Jaguar E-Type S2 4.2 Roadster, manual. This is an excellent example with all matching numbers and Heritage Certificate to authenticate it.
This car has come from the dry climate of California USA, so was not suffering from the usual degradation found with the UK cars! In fact the car is completely original, with excellent panel alignment and was 100% rust free.
Since we have had the car it has been completely stripped and a 2K respray completed in the very popular colour of Opalescent Silver Grey.
The engine has been re-built and includes a new tripple SU Carb set worth £4,000.
With all the major chrome re-chromed and ready for fitment.

With all the hard work complete the car is now at the perfect stage for someone to put their own mark on it. Either restored to the same spec it rolled off the production line or to introduce any upgrades to improve the exceptional driving experience.

The car is available to take away as is or left in the hands of experts to build your dream to your spec.
