37mm & cal. .30 small parts box for the Staghound armoured car.
In Staghounds shipped to Australia, this box was stored on the “factory built” location, on the left side of the turret below the commanders hatch.
In British/Canadian used Staghounds, the box was relocated to the right side of the turret, most likely because the original location would hinder the commander in getting in and out the turret.
This particular box was used by a XII Manitoba Dragoons Lieutenant for storing his shaving utensils.

Does anyone have the large, triangular shaped stowage rack that fits to the left of the 19set in a Staghound turret? Forgive us being greedy but we’re looking for two. X marks the spot.
