2021 Renault Trafic in for Diag today
Customer presented the vehicle with Adblue related issues
Another job 100% correctly Diagnosed by my right hand man Deano
Following a logical diagnostic “ footpath “ with interactive testing he efficiently diagnosed the Adblue pump module not to be making line pressure using the Adblue system test kit
Part of the test plan a sample of Adblue was tested and found to be around 26% instead of the recommended 32.5 %

2.0 M9r Vauxhall Vivaro 2007
With a Bosch Piezo Diesel injector
A trade customer contacted us earlier this week to assist with removal of a seized injector that he’d failed to remove using a pneumatic injector removal tool !
Using the specific Pichler kit we successfully removed the injector all be it in kit for , firstly the injector sheared at the bottom of the collar once the collar was removed we successfully removed the broken portion of the injector and cap nut

A quick update
As of the 1st of June
All Dpf and injectors that have been left with us for testing , clean etc must be paid for on collection
We have several sets of injectors that we have tested and unfortunately failed that are still awaiting collection along with several Dpf’s that we have cleaned and still awaiting payment for

Sheared portion of a 2.2 Transit Custom glow plug that my wingman “ Deano “ sorted this week
Glow Plug Thread insert fitted for the original mounting threads
Replacement glow plug fitted and torqued to spec

Carrying on from the earlier post regarding the removal of four seized injectors from an early 2.0 Vauxhall Vivaro
This one had previous attempts to remove the injectors resulting in a sheared cam housing fixing bolt
Unfortunately the previous attempt had left a sheared portion of the bolt in the lower cam housing
With a “dummy “ bolt head “ stuck in with silicon sealer
The integrity of the bolt is crucial as it is a fixing point of one the “ legs “ for our Pichler injector removal kit
Thinking outside the “box” we made a drill guide using a stainless bolt that threaded into the upper cam housing
This enabled us to drill dead centre of the sheared portion of the original bolt and extract it
Finished off with a long series tap to recover the original threads
Fixing point made good - Pichler support leg in place - moving forward with the job
