Haven't been tested and therefore break.
Can cause other parts to no longer work properly.

Resulting in more trips to the garage.

Tyres with low pressure will work harder, meaning they use more precious fuel.

On top of that, the tyres will wear more quickly and will need replacing. That's more money at the pump wasted and more money at the garage spent.

Although you may be confident to fill your tyres up at home, if you have a slow puncture, it's best to get a professional to take a look. As you might need a new tyre.
