Cornwall trip Day 3
Sunday May 24th was forcast to be a nice warm day and they were right.

We had another good breakfast at the golf club then got ready to set off.
Our route today included some beautiful coast roads through many ports and one of my favourites was Port Isaac (port Wen from Doc Martin) we have been here a few times over the years and im glad to say very little ever changes.

Our next stop was Tintagel castle then onto Minions in Liskeard where we had Lunch at the highest shop and tea room in Cornwall (another cream tea for me🥰)
Feeling happy but quite warm we set off to pay a short visit to Mevagissey and sat looking out to see at the end of the harbour wall with a group of fishermen.

Our last planned stop today was Project Eighty three in Newquay which involved us accidentally joining there rescheduled from last Sunday Dgr ride perade.
Luckily we managed to get parked in their yard before it got to busy and we had a well needed cold drink.
The route back to our bnb took in more coastal holiday towns and the beaches looked very busy, there were surf vans in all the car parks but im glad to say that the weather was bettef for us and not them (the sea was pretty calm)

Once back the guys said they wanted to go to the beach near us for an end of day dip and im glad we did because we didnt realise what was on our doorstep and maybe if we come back again we can spend more time there.

Due to us getting back quite late we had missed dinner at the golf club and ordered a chinese to eat at home. as always with a big order something was missing🤷 but we shared out to cover it.

Yet another great day with great company.

Day 2 of our outriders for the Royal Enfield ONERIDE from IMTAR s Cornwall trip :)
Cornwall trip day 2

We woke early to a grey cloudy morning but you could feel the sun burning through as we gathered to prepare our bikes for the coming day.
Breakfast was booked for 9.15 at Trevose golf club the same place we had dinner the night before (this is going to feature quite heavily this weekend😂)

As we finished breakfast the sun had now broken through the grey and started to dry the morning dew that covered our bikes just in time for us to set off on our days planned route and
as you can see from the pictures the sun shone on us and was warmer than we had expected.

We visited many places including Lizard point, st Michaels mount, a motorcycle museum in a car dealership as well as the lovely town of Fowey were they have a little car ferry across the river Fowey aswell as a pasty shop which we had to try.
On our arrival back to our bnb Adam Moody noticed his back tyre was going down and on further inspection a screw was found poking out from the tyres edge😫
Luckily we had prepared for this situation owing to the fact that 2 bikes on this trip had inner tubes which are more time consuming to fix.
All we can say is that it was good that we found this out now and not the next morning.

We finish up the day in ....well you know where we ended up....the golf club resaurant😂
Great food and all ready to get some rest before we do it all again tomorrow.

Our OUTRIDERS at IMTAR for our Royal Enfield ONERIDE 2026 went on an excursion to Cornwall over the bank holiday.

Here is day 1. Other days to follow over next few days 😌

2026 Cornwall trip.
Friday 22nd of May and the weekend weather is looking amazing.....well amazing at home anyway🫣

We left home at 7am in glorious 15°c sunshine heading to Brentwood services meet point where Joe and myself met Adam Moody Tom Gillett and Matt kingston for a quick breakfast bap and coffee before setting off but first Sophie Newton-Kingston saved the day for Matt by bring his phone charger🤦‍♂️

we set off onto the now quite busy M25 towards the M3 and this wasnt without its slight drama as Tom managed to hit his engine kill switch in the fast lane doing around 70mph causing him to hurry across two busy lanes of trafic to the hard shoulder so he could restart the bike🫣

We all made it to fleet services about 100 miles from home for our first refueling stop and the outside temperature was starting to climb but still comfortable.

The next stop was Riders of Bridgewater where we was going to get a spot of lunch but they no longer have an on site cafe😢however we made good use of their free coffee machine.

After another fuel stop it was 140ish miles to our base camp for the next 3 nights but along the way we stopped at Lynmouth for our first Cream tea (Devon) and yes i know we should have put the cream on first but that just seemed wrong so we did it the Cornwall way😁

We arived at our BnB just after 6pm and unloaded our bikes before heading out on foot to a nearby golf club where there is a nice restaurant and bar.

Mark Bryson and Ian Burt arrived at 8pm due to work commitments so they met us there and thats where we stayed until closing time😁

Great day in the saddle followed by a fun night with good friends.
