Coding Hardware
For example maybe you would like to add the BMW Xenon Headlights to your vehicle, which came from the factory with the Halogen Lights? Well if you had a basic car it would be a pretty straightforward plug and play swap. However BMW like to make things complicated. Because of the bulb warnings, when you switch from Halogen Lights to Xenon’s, your car will automatically detect a fault with the light and bring up a warning light and message on your dash. How can M Coding help? What we can do is code the vehicles LCM which is the Light Control Module to think it came with the Xenon Lights from the factory rather than Halogen Lights, therefore you will not have any error messages come up and you will be alerted as normal if a bulb was to fail.
