Huge congratulations to Kacey Little who passed her driving test with flying colours in Castle Douglas on her 1st attempt.
This scania v8 loving lassie has been great to teach and with a superb attitude to driving safely.
Both Kacey and Becky passing 1st time gives them bragging right of older brother Jack

In a few short months I believe Kacey will hopefully be starting her lorry driver training and wish her the best of luck.

Diary’s mental at the moment but spaces becoming available in the next few months. Probably best to be booking ahead to save disappoint for next year.

Another great result this week with Lola Jordan passing her driving test on the 1st attempt.
Nerves and self doubt had definitely crept in over the last couple of weeks but Lola kept her nerve and passed.
Lola was the model pupil through out her learning and practiced whenever she could with dad after buying a lovely wee Audi A1 which we actually saw out on a lesson 1 night.
I’ll miss the banter but not the pot holes up the hidden road.
Thanks again Lola for trusting in me to be your driving instructor 🚗😀

“2 minors, I thought I’d failed”
Well you were wrong Becky, you absolutely smashed it today and complimented on a great drive. Nerves had definitely crept in this morning but you held it together!
New found freedom for you and baby Zara! New house, driving licence, what’s next??!!

Thanks to mum for the extra practice and no pressure on Kacey to pass now. Hopefully that means I stop getting you mixed up now in lessons. 😂
This 1 means a lot! Close family friend getting to pass and being able to help them

Also this is the 1st pass in my automatic car! Happy days 😀🚗😀🚗😀🚗

Camera shy Fraser Lamont passed his driving test today with 4 minor driving faults.

Fraser has worked extremely hard to over come nerves and become a cracking safe driver.
If only his driving at the 3rd hole at Cd golf club could be as good 🏌🏻‍♂️😂

As I sign off to go on holiday I reflect on a busy start to the year.
10 passes out of 11.
No excuse but I’m pretty sure my pupil who failed would have passed but was going through some personal matters at the time of their test but with the current test waiting time we thought it was better to have tried than push the test back.

No one really talks about the fails. It’s heart breaking not only for the pupil but for me.
I question myself, did I miss something or over look it. The self doubt creeps in but if I didn’t I’d be worried as it shows I care.

I’m incredibly lucky to have the support of my family and my qualify team mates. Without the support of especially Ian and Rose and their years of expertise I’m alway learning and adapting. Everyday is a school day and no 2 pupils are the same. That’s what I love about my job.

Cars parked up, Suitcase is packed. Sunshine here I come 🇺🇸🏌🏻‍♂️🍺

Amy’s probably been waiting all day for this post since she was the 1st test of the day at 8.20am.
Nerves were creeping in this week but we both knew Amy was more than ready to sit her test! Luckily Amy managed to hold her nerve and had a great 1st time pass with 2 minors.
Huge thank you to Mum and Dad who will be delighted never to be practicing hill starts again out the old bridge of Urr and Rhonehouse 🤣

Amy was the model pupil and a pleasure to teach and practiced with dad which made a huge difference.

Now for Rangers to win the league to keep the smile on her face 😆

Really proud seeing my name on my cars and seeing how far my business has come and moved forward.
