Done a job yesterday on a Mazda 3 while customer was in work.

Issues : 4 tyres required changing and tyres showed signs of tracking issues.

Replaced for new mid range tyres including valve replacement and wheel balance.

Drove car to the alignment centre and the tracking was out by a lot.

Customer was very happy with the convenience and the tracking price.

Just finished a job today on a mercedes for a customer.
Customer wanted 4 new pirelli tyres that exactly matched her previous mercedes Original ones, (pirelli P zero), they where balanced and fitted. I Cleaned up her alloys as an added extra.
The old tyres had outside wear and some cracking.

Tread of heaven mobile tyres Cardiff here showing you a job I completed today.

This tyre's had it. Severe inside tread wear has caused the tyre to blow, definate wheel alignment issues.

Check for wear all over as inside wear is often hidden.
Customer said "didn't spot the issue as it looked good from looking at it from side of car".

Other front tyre also had similar wear so advised customer to have that changed then get an alignment sorted. Will be changing it for her tomorrow

The repercussions are pretty severe as described in this article from south Wales Police. The image shows a very bad tyre worn right down to the metal chords. Remember that bad tyres are an easy way to build up penalty points after you have done everything else by the letter of the law.

When was the last time you checked your tyres? 🛞🛞 The legal minimum tread depth for car tyres in the UK is 1.6mm across the central three-quarters of the tyre, although for safety reasons it's best to replace tyres well before the tread gets as low as 1.6mm.

Remember, tyre tread is really important as it helps your vehicle with grip, braking distance and steering.

If you're stopped and your vehicle is found with illegal tyres, you could get a £2,500 fine and three penalty points per tyre.
