The latest 2026 GR Yaris steering wheel fitted!

We’ve just installed Toyota’s new 2026 GR Yaris steering wheel into this GR Yaris Aero Performance, bringing one of the latest updates from Toyota Gazoo Racing to the earlier car.

The new wheel has a slightly smaller diameter with a larger grip area, giving it a sportier feel, while the controls have been repositioned closer to the centre for easier access.

Visually it’s a big improvement too, with the GR badge replacing the traditional Toyota emblem and new illuminated rings around the steering wheel controls.

It’s a subtle upgrade, but one that really modernises the interior and feels great in the hands.

Supra MK4 Single Turbo Build Underway with another Toyota Supra MK4 build taking shape in the Whifbitz workshop.

This one has come in for a complete single turbo conversion, centred around our own Whifbitz turbo kit and a Turbosmart 6466 turbo.

The engine is currently out and on the stand, giving us the perfect opportunity to show off some of the hardware going into the build:

✅ Whifbitz T4 twin wastegate exhaust manifold
✅ Turbosmart 6466 turbo
✅ Whifbitz 269 Stage 2 cams
✅ HKS adjustable cam pulley
✅ FIC 1000cc injectors
✅ Whifbitz top-feed fuel rail
✅ Gates Racing cambelt

The pictures show the engine part-way through assembly with our T4 manifold and fuel system fitted, ready for the next stages of the build.

We've been building, modifying and tuning Toyota Supras for over 25 years, and it's still great to see another MK4 getting a proper modern single turbo setup.

Plenty more to come on this one as the build progresses, including the completed engine bay and, eventually, some results from our 4WD Dynojet.

Another GR Corolla Sold!

This 2023 Toyota GR Corolla has now left us and is with its new owner!

The GR Corolla was never officially sold in the UK, so they’re still a pretty rare sight on our roads. With the G16E-GTS turbocharged 3-cylinder engine, 6-speed manual gearbox and GR-FOUR four-wheel-drive system, they offer serious performance with the added practicality of a five-door body.

Another full GR Yaris build completed here at Whifbitz.

This one features a fully forged G16E-GTS engine with a SpecJ closed deck insert, Nitto pistons & rods, Kelford 267A cams, Supertech valves and an Artec Sport 400 turbo.

Custom mapped using EcuTek on our Dynojet 4WD rolling road:

High Boost – 357whp / 427bhp
Low Boost – 319whp / 384bhp

Built to make 427bhp now, with plenty more capability in the engine for the future.

Now available for sale at Garage Whifbitz is this stunning 2020 BMW M135i xDrive, £18,995. Finished in Alpine White and imported from Japan with just 19,000 genuine miles from new – making it one of the lowest-mileage 2020 examples currently available.

One of the big advantages of sourcing cars like this from Japan is the condition. With far less exposure to the salted winter roads we see here in the UK, good Japanese examples can be exceptionally clean underneath as well as on top – and this M135i is a great example of that.

Another GR Yaris sourced from Japan for a customer!

This time it’s a 2026 Toyota GR Yaris Aero Performance Package, finished in Grey with the 8 speed automatic gearbox and just 2,387km (1,483 miles) from new.

The factory Aero Performance Package adds:

✓ Vented aluminium bonnet
✓ Vented front wings
✓ Adjustable rear spoiler
✓ Front aero spoiler
✓ Vented rear bumper
✓ Aerodynamic underfloor panels

With new UK orders for the Aero Performance currently not available until mid-2027, sourcing from Japan can be a great way to get hold of one without the lengthy wait.

This car was specifically sourced and purchased in Japan for our customer and will now make its way over to the UK.

Another lovely Toyota Supra Mk4 Twin Turbo 6-speed in the Whifbitz workshop, this time for a serious round of upgrades.

The factory twin turbos are making way for a full single turbo conversion using our Whifbitz turbo kit combined with a Turbosmart 6266 turbo.

We’re also fitting:

• Syvecs S7Plus ECU
• Whifbitz top-feed fuel rail kit
• Wagner Tuning intercooler kit
• HKS Hipermax S coilovers
• Seibon carbon fibre front spoiler
• Plus plenty of other upgrades along the way

We’ve been specialising in the Toyota Supra Mk4 for 26 years, and it’s still great to see cars like this coming through the workshop for the next stage of their development.

Once everything is installed, we’ll have it on our 4WD Dynojet for mapping and see what the new setup can do.

SOLD – Lexus LBX Morizo RR

We’ve just sold this seriously rare 2024 Lexus LBX Morizo RR, which we imported directly from Japan — and we believe it could currently be the only one in the UK.

The Morizo RR is a very special bit of kit. It uses the same 1.6-litre turbocharged three-cylinder engine as the GR Yaris, producing around 300bhp, combined with four-wheel drive and the latest 8-speed DAT automatic transmission.

This November 2024 example is finished in Metallic Grey and gets the full Morizo RR treatment, including 19-inch wheels, uprated brakes and suspension, sports seats and a beautifully finished interior combining Alcantara with soft Lexus-quality leather and red contrast stitching.

It combines genuine GR-derived performance with the refinement, comfort and build quality you'd expect from Lexus — and you're certainly not going to see many of them on UK roads!

GR Yaris Forged Engine Build – 430BHP+ Ready

Another G16E-GTS engine freshly built here at Whifbitz, ready to go back into its GR Yaris.

The target for this setup is around 430bhp, but we’ve built the engine with plenty more capability should the owner decide to turn things up in the future.

The spec includes:

✅ DP H11 head stud kit
✅ Supertech valves
✅ Kelford 267A camshafts
