So, how did we do?
A huge thank you to everyone that joined us at Caldicot Castle & Country Park for another day of Fords at the Castle!
We ended with around 400 Fords on display, with everything from the latest and greatest to the classics many of us adore and lust after. We'd love to know what your favourite car was?
We attempted a new layout, had new & old traders join us and welcomed back some of the best car clubs we could hope to share the day with. We had an unexpected and overwhelming turn out from the public, a few breakdowns from traders out of our control and we continue to try new ideas to improve the day for everyone joining us. Whilst it's a long way from perfected, we hope those that joined for a 2nd, 3rd or even 4th year saw the efforts to keep improving the show for you all. And most importantly we hope you enjoyed the show.
Iโd like to give a special thank you to the team around me for bringing the vision to life. It takes months of planning, meetings, organising, running around and late evenings to make a day like this happen. No one gets paid and everyone gave up their own time to give the best show we could. The feedback has been overwhelming, the comments on the day were truly heartwarming, and it makes all the stress feel (mostly) worth it. Without the team it wouldn't work, so thank you all.
We'll upload our Top 10 cars separately, but a congratulations to Liam Miller who won Best in Show with his Mk1 Focus RS, as voted for by our Top 10 choice & the public vote.
Next year is a HUGE year for Welsh Ford Owners Club as we celebrate our 20 year anniversary, and next year we go again, bigger and better and we hope you'll all join us once again!
Thank you!
Alex
