In the past, our main challenge was not a lack of space, but an inefficient workflow that resulted in unnecessary downtime when moving vehicles and sharing equipment. This prompted us to envision a workspace that maximizes our existing space while facilitating a streamlined flow for moving vehicles through each stage without needing to relocate others, ensuring that each worker has all necessary equipment readily available.
Our new facility has successfully realized this vision, allowing us to progress vehicles seamlessly through each stage in the workshop. Once authorized, a vehicle is placed in a repair pod for stripping and repairs, with all parts allocated to a designated bay above the pod. After repairs, it moves directly into a prep pod and then to the booth for painting, maintaining a completely free-flowing process. For quality control, the vehicle is moved into our valet bay for cleaning and QC, ready for collection. We also have a Fast Track pod for vehicles requiring minimal repairs, ensuring they move through the workshop with minimal key-to-key time.
Each pod is fully equipped with the necessary technology and equipment to ensure a smooth process. Cameras have been installed in each pod to capture photos at set intervals throughout the process, ensuring all repair stages are documented on the job card as required by most insurers. Additionally, we have a dedicated ADAS area managed by our sister company, equipped with the latest technology, including BYD Mats.
