Andy’s E30 Touring is getting close to the finish line! 🏁 Full S54 conversion plus a complete underside restoration — and the underside is now pretty much done. Over the next couple of weeks we’ll finish the wiring and engine bay assembly, then it’s off for MOT and wheel alignment.

As always, the whole swap will be registered with the DVLA to keep everything 100% legal.

And here’s the crazy part — once it’s all done, this car is heading back to its owner in Hong Kong. Drive it onto the boat in Bristol, drive it off in Hong Kong 😁🚢

What a day out with the boys. ☀️

Eastwood Park, Queen Square breakfast meet — amazing weather, amazing cars, and a load of great people. Met plenty of new faces and some potential customers along the way. That’s exactly what we’re here for. 🤝

Days like this are what it’s all about. Already looking forward to the next one. 🔧

This is what a proper E30 chassis rebuild looks like before a single bolt goes back in. 🔧

Laid out and ready:
→ BC Racing coilovers
→ 6-pot Brembo calipers (front)
→ E46 M3 345mm CSL cross-drilled front discs, 294mm vented rears
→ E36 kingpin setup — E36 front hubs, Z4 rears
→ Powerflex bushes throughout
→ Z3 steering rack
→ Refinished subframe & control arms
→ 5x120 conversion + spacers

Every part cleaned, painted or replaced. Nothing going back on tired. Once it’s together this thing will turn in like a scalpel and stop on a coin — and we’ve still got the 3-piece BBS to add. 👀

Another BMW E39 M5 saved and back on the road where it belongs. 🔧

This car arrived with the typical E39 corrosion areas that many owners know too well. We carried out extensive metal restoration, including:

• Full welding repairs to jacking points
• Sill reconstruction and reinforcement
• Rear arch rust removal and metal repair
• Boot floor corrosion treatment

Every affected area was cut back to solid metal, repaired properly, treated, epoxy primed and refinished, ensuring the rust is eliminated and the structure is strong again — not just hidden.

While the bodywork was underway, the alloys were sent for full refurbishment, completing the transformation.

The result?
A solid, rust-free E39 M5 that looks as good underneath as it does on the outside.

These cars are becoming rarer every year, and proper restoration is the only way to preserve them.
