🎉 Congratulations to Kayla Goodhind on passing her driving test with Liam with just ONE fault! 🚗🎉

What a fantastic result for Kayla today on her third attempt — and this time there was absolutely no doubt about it!

Liam sat in the back for the test and described it as a perfect drive. Her only fault came before she’d even started driving, when she pointed to the wrong thing under the bonnet for the “Tell Me” question! 😄

After a couple of near misses, particularly on her first attempt, today she showed exactly what she was capable of and thoroughly deserved this result.

Just 1 fault and a fantastic drive. 👏

Isla was incredibly unlucky not to get the result she deserved on her first attempt, but thankfully she managed to secure another test very quickly.

Today she put that disappointment firmly behind her and produced an excellent drive, passing with just 1 driving fault! 👏

A fantastic result and proof that sometimes you just have to put the first attempt behind you, go again and show what you can do.

🎉 Congratulations to Kobi Veitch on passing his driving test FIRST TIME with just ONE driving fault! 🚗🎉

What a fantastic result for Kobi today — a first-time pass with only 1 driving fault! 👏

During his lessons, one thing we worked particularly hard on was judgement when emerging and turning across traffic. Kobi was always rather confident that he could make the gap — usually telling me “I thought I could beat him!”

So there was a certain amount of irony today when his only driving fault was for hesitation, turning right back into the test centre at the very end of his test!

On this occasion I certainly wasn’t complaining. 😁 I’d much rather see a little hesitation than take a chance, misjudge the gap and potentially turn an excellent drive into a fail.

A brilliant result and thoroughly deserved.

🎉 Congratulations to Oliver Bendrey on passing his driving test FIRST TIME with just 2 driving faults! 🚗🎉

Oliver has been driving extremely well in the build-up to his test, averaging just 2 driving faults on his recent lessons.

So what did he get on the real thing? Exactly 2! 😁

Both faults were for speeding, so perhaps we’ll just say he was a little too keen to get that licence! 😂

A really comfortable drive and a thoroughly deserved first-time pass.

The only downside is that Oliver could have been straight out driving today… but unfortunately his own car has decided to celebrate by developing a coolant leak! 🤦‍♂️ Hopefully that’s sorted very soon.

🎉 Three more FIRST TIME passes in two days means three new lesson spaces have become available! 🚗🎉

A huge congratulations to Holly, Kiera and Rebecca who passed their driving tests first time this week. We’re incredibly proud of them and wish them many years of safe and enjoyable driving.

As a result, we now have two regular weekly lesson spaces available:

🚗 Dave: Wednesdays at 8:30am, 10.15am
🚗 Liam: Thursdays at 12:00pm

These spaces are ideal for learners who can commit to regular weekly lessons, helping you make steady progress towards your driving test.

Over the past three years, we’ve worked hard to keep our lesson prices unchanged. Unfortunately, with the continued increase in running costs, it’s now time to make a small adjustment to our prices so we can continue providing the high standard of tuition our pupils expect.

⭐ The good news for our existing pupils…

If you’re already learning with Newman’s Driving School, your current lesson prices will remain until 1 January 2027. We wanted to give all of our existing pupils plenty of opportunity to complete their driving journey before any increase takes effect.

✅ Your first two 90-minute lessons (3 hours)
✅ PLUS a complimentary 2-hour lesson on the day of your practical driving test (subject to our normal booking terms).

(Equivalent to £43 per hour)

⭐ Block of 10 hours – £420
(Equivalent to just £42 per hour)
