The Slipway Co-operative Ltd

The Slipway Co-operative Ltd A small company dedicated to take care of all kinds of wooden boats, whether for normal maintenance, repairs or restoration

The Slipway Co-operative have been active at the Underfall Yard in Bristol since 2002, when it was set up by Win Cnoops and Jay Clarke. Never without any work, and doing some high profile jobs on boats like the SS Great Britain, boats by Uffa Fox, and doing some new-builds like the Cornish Pilot Gig 'Young Bristol for Bristol Gig Club, the setting up of our sister company Star Yachts Ltd, it was d

ecided the Co-operative would focus on work on existing boats, leaving the new builds to Star Yachts. This has turned out to be beneficial for both companies.

Here she is delivered in Plymouth, to explore the area. The first weekend she made a coastal round trip to Dartmouth and Salcombe. Not bad!
