GRP ROOF PODS – NOW AVAILABLE FROM STORM POPTOPS WSM
As many of you already know, Storm Poptops was born from our sister company, Summit Motorhomes, which was responsible for many high-end conversions as well as developing some great fibreglass products for the campervan market.
One of those products was our GRP roof pod, which remains extremely popular today.
We’re pleased to say we are now supplying and fitting these from our Storm Poptops Weston-super-Mare branch for:
• LWB Mercedes Sprinter
• LWB Volkswagen Crafter
PLEASE NOTE: These roof pods have been specifically designed and modelled to fit these two vehicles. Unfortunately, we cannot fit them to any other make or model.
If you’re planning a conversion with a rear garage for motorcycles, mountain bikes or other equipment, these roof pods are an ideal addition to the build, giving you valuable extra headroom and making much better use of the available space.
BUILT & FITTED PROPERLY
One of the key differences with our roof pods is the way they are installed.
Unlike our competitors, every Storm/Summit roof pod is fitted using a purpose-fabricated installation frame, designed to replace the strength lost from the crossmembers removed during the installation process.
It’s an important part of the installation and something we have incorporated into our roof pod system from the outset.
Fitting takes just one day. Drop your vehicle to us and it will be ready for collection the following morning once all sealants have fully cured and we’ve given everything a final clean and inspection.
We can also supply and fit:
• 700mm x 500mm skylight – £295 + VAT
• Additional windows
• MaxxAir fans
• Full colour coding to match your vehicle
So if you want the pod to look completely integrated with the vehicle rather than simply added on, we can take care of that too.

For customers travelling to us, we can provide a courtesy car if you’d like to stay locally and explore the area. Alternatively, we can drop you at the train station just 2 miles away and collect you again on your return.
