It's been quite a while since any updates...so here's my pop update - new firewall made, suspension upgrades fabbed (mostly E46 bmw front, 8inch rear with VW golf calipers), roof filled, rust repaired and back to metal. Fibreglass wings, sills and boot lid prepped...
