Just a heads up for customers booked in week starting the 8th of December 😊

SGC will be carrying out geotechnical investigations along Foss Lane, Oldbury-on-Severn starting on 8 December and will need to close the road for safety reasons.

The closure will be for five days and will be 24/7 for this period.

Road subsidence and large cracks opened up in the southbound lane earlier in the autumn and temporary lights were put in place.

We now need to carry out a series of deep trial trenches and test the soil to try and determine the cause of the issue and a workable solution.

Traffic will be diverted via Pickedmoor Lane and The Naite on the map below.

Out with the old in with the new 🔧🚗

This Audi needed a set of new spark plugs due to multiple misfires causing engine management faults and very poor running

New set, codes cleared and vehicle is running on all cylinders again!

Volkswagen 1.2 timing chain and oil pump drive chain replacement 🔧🚗

A common issue for these engines is for a rattling noise on startup or engine management and poor running faults due to the chains stretching or actually jumping teeth resulting in incorrect camshaft timing… not good!

A new full premium kit fitted and this ones all good to hit the road again 🚗🚗
