The 2.0 HDi is a reliable and hard-working engine, however EGR system faults can often lead to reduced performance, warning lights and limp mode operation. In this case, the vehicle was suffering from a persistent EGR-related issue which was preventing normal operation.

A bespoke ECU calibration was carried out to correctly address the underlying software strategy, allowing the vehicle to operate as intended whilst also benefiting from a Stage 1 performance calibration. The result is improved throttle response, stronger mid-range torque and smoother power delivery throughout the rev range, making the vehicle noticeably more responsive and enjoyable to drive without compromising reliability.

This vehicle runs a Bosch DCM3.5 ECU and was calibrated safely via AutoTuner OBD, allowing the original software to be read and securely backed up before any modifications were carried out.

Land Rover Defender P400e Exhaust Software Solutions

This Defender P400e received bespoke software adjustments to support aftermarket exhaust modifications and resolve compatibility issues with the factory emissions system.

The calibration work included OPF/GPF and rear O2 related software solutions, allowing the vehicle to operate correctly following hardware changes while maintaining smooth OEM-style drivability and refinement.
