Carp, Catfish & Coarse fishing Burton Springs Fishery is a mixed coarse of three lakes set in beautiful quiet countryside overlooked by the Quantock Hills in Somerset. Whether you are looking for rod bending carp action on our Specimen lake, a days pleasure fishing on Alder Pool or the chance to catch a catfish on Kingfish

er lake Burton Springs has it all. We pride ourselves on being a sustainability focused campsite and fishery and believe in working with nature, not against. We use vegan, biodegradable cleaning products, 100% plastic/chemical free toilet paper and have recycling points through the site. We also maintain our lakes and grounds through organic, chemical free methods. We also have a fully accessible toilet & shower cubical and each lake has 1 swim that can be easily accessed via a ramp for anyone with mobility issues.

*** 2027 bookings OPEN***
The bookings for 2027 are now OPEN across all fishing and all accomodation/camping etc.

All we require is a £50 deposit and your balance wont be due till 4 weeks before the start of your booking.
Please be aware that we WONT hold ANY bookings without a deposit payment.

We have held the prices at 2026 and not done any increases. This may change once we hit 2027, lets see!

That's the summer holidays ... DONE
What a summer, I think this one can only be described with one word...HOT!
Now the very much needed rain has arrived and we're thankful. Its been a busy 6 weeks, 1400 people have been making memories and sharing their holiday with us.
We've also had 160 dogs, 2 cats, 1 budgee & 1 komodo dragon!

We would like to thank everyone who has chosen to stay with us over the summer holidays and look forward to hopefully seeing you again.

The bookings for 2027 are now OPEN for holidays and fishing.

For the 1st time we are trailing a few seasonal pitches, only 5.
These will be available 1st March - 1st Novemember2027.
Prices include electric, water and full use of toilets & showers.

We will also be doing winter storage across all our hardstandings at £10 per week.

If you fancy something a bit different this bank holiday sunday, our friends at yellow door cottage are hosting a supper club roast.
Finish your plate, go back for seconds, very relaxed, social, village/community vibe. Bring your own drinks amd sit on long tables with fellow guests.

Please be advised that we still have a fire ban onsite. This means no BBQs, firepits and no disposable BBQs allowed.
We have still taken all the firepits away from the glamping accomodation.

We have a very rare slot available on kingfisher swim 3 from today Monday - Friday 28th August. We also have Swim 4 on kingfisher available for the same time.
Kingfisher swim 3 is almost completely fully booked for the rest of this year, so this is a very rare opportunity.
