997 GT2 on the ramp today for fresh pads & fluid! 🇩🇪🏁

If you look closely at the old pads, you can see the rivets retaining the pad material are beginning to show. Even though there looked to be plenty of pad thickness left visually, leaving these any longer would have completely ruined the ceramic discs!! 😬💸

Fresh Pagid RS pads & Motul high temp fluid installed. Discs saved, job jobbed. 👌🏽🫡

Gary's 991 was in with us to sort out a "not so cold" AC system ❄️🔍

Similar to a 981 Boxster we recently had in for the same issue, investigation traced a pinhole leak right under the mounting clamps holding the underbody pipes. Dirt traps under there, corrodes the metal, and slowly bleeds the system dry!!

AC Repair: Both underbody lines swapped out and system fully pressure tested & regassed ❄️
​Maintenance: Annual service carried out whilst up on the ramps 🛠️
​Tech Upgrade: Retrofitted Apple CarPlay / Android Auto directly to the factory PCM system 📱

Modern nav and music integration while keeping the original factory interior look—saving a good chunk compared to the latest 991/981 PCCM+ replacement!

Another end to a busy week 🛠️🙏🏽

Here's a mix of some that's left over the last couple of days!

981 Boxster, sorting the blower & subsequently found a failed rad fan so this was done too

991, came in for spark plugs to be replaced, everything seized... 3 snapped coil pack bolts later, we're back in business. 👋🏽

Turbo, was made faster, considerably! Also addressed cosmetic bits.. Headlights & spacing the wheels

Carerra 4S, this one heads back after a freshen up 🫡.

Danny's 986 S is back on the road after some convertible roof repairs—plus service for good measure! 🛠️

​He originally got in touch after hearing a loud bang when operating the hood, with the AA having to come out just to help get it shut.

​The fix: One new drive cable fitted, plus a roof arm borrowed straight off my own Boxster 😅 meant Danny was back up and running with minimal delay!
A minor service and full checkover underneath completed the works. ✅

Porsche Macan in for a new transfer box! ⚙️

​Transfer case issues are a well-known headache on these models, causing shuddering and hesitation under acceleration & hard turning. Swapped out for a fresh unit to get the power delivery back to 100% smooth. ⚙️

The one we managed to save! 🙌

​I originally headed over towards Guildford to inspect a Porsche 911 that had stopped running... Turns out it had completely hydrolocked!

​On inspection, cylinders 3 & 4 were filled with oil due to a major Air Oil Separator (AOS) failure. The exhaust silencers and catalytic converters were completely oil-logged as well. So we had it transported to the workshop,m to dive into the problem & see what could be done....

​The Result:
Today, the car leaves us singing again on all 6 cylinders! We removed the engine for inspection, replaced the faulty AOS, and refreshed the spark plugs & exhaust system alongside new lambda sensors.

It’s been a bit quiet on here recently, so here’s a quick update! 🛠️

We’ve been super busy—the heat and the workload are both through the roof at the moment! Working hard behind the scenes to get everything in, sorted, and handed back to you as quickly as possible.

From general servicing and inspections to modifications and unexpected breakdowns, they’re coming in all shapes and sizes 😎
