Tamiya Fighter Buggy RX (Kit #58184), a classic 1/10 scale 2WD electric radio-controlled off-road buggy released by Tamiya in the mid-1990s.

Of course the old mechanical speed controller and radio set was junk, so replaced with a lovely new 2.4ghz set and brand new brushed speed controller and motor!

On 2s this is a little ripper! Happy customer and new life breathed into an older car 🚗

A little mid week repair of a DeeRC mini truck.

Customer had bashed it into a kerb and broken the steering rod, a fab upgrade fitted and sent on its way.
Also needed a new drive pin which I spotted.

Traxxas TRX4m land rover

The rear wheels were not turning in time with the front, customer couldn't work out why.
The input shaft had split and lost it's pin, common on these little trx4ms.

Removed old shaft and drilled for a larger pin, tightened using a bolt fastner and put back together!
Common little mod for these.

All fixed and ready to crawl!

PD Racing Magnitron 6s Brushless

Don't be fooled by the price tag, these are well built and a proper option to the traxxas and arrma offerings.

Solidly built but still breakable, customer had smashed the upper diff case, C cup and Hub and the tie rod.

All sourced and fitted, one happy car and one happy customer!

Probably one of the largest boats I've fixed in a long time, so big that it had to stay in my living room!

A custom made boat that a client bought to me and wanted the electrics fixing.

A beautiful and very purple 💜 hpi savage
I love working on these savages simply due to their stubbornness and know how needed to take them apart.

Customer had this in his shed, needed a few bits doing to it.
New 2.4ghz receiver with reverse set up
New air filter
New electrics fitted
Chemical clean and free up from gunk

Ready to rock for the customer!

A little 1/10 ftx carnage
Car was suffering from excessive differential output wear causing the driveshafts to lock up and fall out.
Replaced (after a bit of a wait on parts!) and also 1x new bearing.

Rear pins were worn but not as warranting replacement in my opinion, so save those for another day.

1 happy car and 1 happy customer

A fantastic little Tamiya Lunchbox kit all constructed for a customer

As with all tamiya kits I've left this unstickered as that's the customers choice for what stickers they have! 😊

Fab fun with a brushed 540 motor and 2.4ghz controller system all fitted and ready to rock.
Just as tamiya intended in 1987!
Not much has changed (if anything) on these kits and they still use the same castings!

**Quick Update**

Currently moved from the old digs to a larger premises, in the stages of settling in and I have a bit of a car backlog!

Hopefully I should have them done in 2 weeks roughly and then be able to accept new customer jobs.

This new site is exciting as it should allow me to stock more parts and get everyone RC'ing quicker!
