🏁 BRINGING A PIECE OF RALLY HISTORY BACK TO LIFE 🏁
We’ve been digging into the history of this car and, safe to say, it’s got some serious rally heritage behind it!
The first known driver was Neil Matthews, who won the BRC Challenge Championship in 2009 in the car. Neil later rolled it, so we believe it subsequently had a new roof fitted.
The car was then sold to Fraser Wilson, who went on to win the Scottish 1400 Forestry Championship in it. After bottom end failure the engine was rebuilt by Bill Falconer, giving the car its Bowyer / Bill Falconer engine.
The car was later advertised for sale through Eurorallye where it was bought by Mark Watkins around 14 years ago.
Since then, it’s spent all those years tucked away in Mark’s dad’s garage, waiting for its next chapter.
Mark and Kelan eventually bought a new Bill Falconer engine for it, but the car then sat for another couple of years…

It’s great to be putting this car and its history back together and, more importantly, getting Mark and Kelan into their own car.
Anyone who knows these boys will know just how rally mad they are, so we’re really looking forward to seeing them finally get out there and enjoy it! 🏁🔥
There’s already a fair bit of history behind this car — now it’s time for Mark & Kelan to add their own chapter.
