We’ve been absolutely flat out over the last few weeks, so our workshop posts have been a little quiet! 😂

🔧 MINI DAY AT MOTO-TEC! 🔧

It’s been all about the MINIs in the workshop today! 🚗💨

A busy one for the lads with a bit of everything going on:

🔵 Blue R52 – Head gasket replacement
🔴 Red R56 JCW – Awaiting engine replacement
🩶 Silver R50 – Wiper fault diagnosis
🔵 Blue R50 Diesel – Suspension overhaul (cracking car! 👌)
🔴 Red R56 Diesel – Full service completed ✅
🔧 MINI Checkmate – Rear main oil seal replacement, full suspension overhaul, polyurethane bushes and a full wheel alignment/geometry setup! 💪

From engine work to suspension and handling upgrades, we’ve had plenty to keep us busy today!

No rest for the Moto-Tec lads today! 😂

🔧 JOB UPDATE – VAUXHALL CORSA 🔧

Remember the Vauxhall Corsa we posted earlier in the week? 👀

We can now confirm the repairs are complete, with a brand-new subframe and all the necessary accompanying parts fitted to get this vehicle safely back on the road. ✅

With the old subframe removed, you can really see the full extent of the failure caused by corrosion! 😳

Another job completed by the team here at Moto-Tec, keeping our customers safe and their vehicles roadworthy. 💪

😳🔧 BIT OF A CRAZY ONE TODAY AT MOTO-TEC! 🚗💨

This Vauxhall Corsa came into us with the customer’s concern that the car was wandering all over the road…

We got it up on the ramp and soon discovered the culprit! 😱🤯

The subframe is absolutely rotten, with severe corrosion and sections completely rusted through! 😬🦀

Definitely not something you want to see underneath a car that’s being driven on the road! ⚠️

This is exactly why getting your vehicle checked over properly is so important. What might feel like a handling issue could turn out to be something far more serious.
