Damage is an unavoidable part of operating trucks and trailers.
Because everything is so heavy, clipping something in quarries, building sites, tight access roads, or on other equipment, will usually result in components being mangled, bent, or completely smashed off.
And its the usual suspects; side guards, wacker carriers, rear underruns, sheet arms, headboards, and mud wings.
What should be simple replacements can result in costly repairs and delays depending on how they're fixed to the bodywork.
Anything welded on immediately costs more:
- The repair takes longer, keeping the vehicle off the road
- You need a competent welder, an expensive skill set
- You might need a repaint back to your colours
Over the 3 to 6 years that equipment is on your fleet, those extra costs add up.
We've removed these extra costs and delays from our equipment using bolt-together assembly and galvanisation.
Everything can be removed and replaced with a spanner, which can be done anywhere by anyone. And because most parts arrive galvanised, you won't need to pay for a repaint.
And this is across the whole Kel-Berg range of equipment; steel tippers, grab loaders, aggregate trailers, and vacuum tankers.
