Another 1 series visiting us ✅ this time for a blown differential! The driveshaft seal on this one blew out causing the diff to lose all its oil and essentially self destruct! 😅
We took action to supply and fit a reconditioned differential with warranty to keep the costs fair and put the customers mind at ease.🔥 We also replaced the driveshaft which popped out for good measure and a smooth driving experience for years to come 👌🏼

BMW 1 series petrol in with us for its timing chain replacement ✅ the timing on this one was miles out and the car wouldn’t start as a result so we took it on the right way 👌🏼

Engine out to properly inspect the condition of the engine and components ✅ Other than broken timing chain guides, we found no other issues, no hidden damage and our timing chain kit included all new chains, guides, sprockets and tensioners so we got away with the minimum on this one 🔥

We carry out timing chain work on many different makes and models. Front or rear mounted, transverse, petrol or diesel ⛽️

We’ve got an excellent variety of work coming through the door lately which keeps us happy and loving the game 👌🏼✅
These 3 vehicles chose us for their fluids and filters servicing knowing they’ll get exactly what they asked for 🤝 proof of servicing provided as well to make selling easier in the future 👌🏼

Yes we check, test and replace spark plugs, yes we actually change all your filters and fluids where needed rather than just tick your service book 👀 and yes we will tidy up your engine bay when we’re done, vehicle inspections carried out too as standard to warn our customers of any potential MOT failures ✅

We are the garage that care about our customers and the function/safety of their vehicles which is why many of you lovely people choose us time and time again 💪🏼 huge thanks from us at Southside as always 🔥

Vauxhall Zafira first time with us to diagnose braking noise and repair oil leaks somebody already had a crack at! 💪🏼

On this one we quickly found that somebody had fitted front pads recently without replacing the brake pad fitting shims ❌ this allows the brake pads to rattle around under braking.. not what you want. We supplied all new front brake pads compete with the fitting kits and installed these properly with our trusty ceramic brake grease 🔥 no more noises 👌🏼

Next up we found the oil pressure switch and oil filter housing to be leaking oil pretty much everywhere 😅 out with the old and in with the new. No more leaks or squeaks! No more worries 👏🏼

Mercedes A180 in with us recently for a complete loss of power steering 👀 the customer was already quoted in excess of £4k for this job so we took it on ourselves to diagnose properly and help out 💪🏼

We found the power steering rack motor to have numerous permanent faults so we sent this off for a new refurbished unit and coded it up in house ✅ no more faults, silky smooth power steering and over £2.5k saved 👌🏼 that’s how we roll 🔥
