2026 marks a very special milestone for Barnsley Towbar Centre. 25 years proud members of the National Trailer and Towing Association (NTTA), dating back to August 2001! 🫱🏽‍🫲🏼

Our original 2001 certificate is a reminder of our long standing commitment to the industry and the standards we believe in.

But our commitment goes far beyond membership. We take towbars, towing safely and trailer servicing seriously, and we believe that delivering a quality service starts with continually developing our knowledge, skills and expertise 🧠 ⚒️

🥇 Our NTTA 5-Star Accredited Trusted Workshop certificates reflect our commitment to maintaining high standards.

🎓 Every member of our workshop team holds certificates for completing the *NTTA-accredited 2-day Towbar Technician foundation course* alongside qualifications in the *NTTA Foundation in Trailer Servicing* and the *IMI Level 3 Award in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle System Repair and Replacement*

🔧 We also have specialist expertise within our team, with one of our employees qualified as an *AL-KO Service Engineer* authorised to carry out warranty, servicing and repair work on AL-KO products.

For us, these qualifications aren’t just certificates on a wall. They represent the time, effort and investment we put into making sure our team continues to grow, develop and keep up with evolving industry practices and standards.

The towing industry doesn’t stand still, and neither do we. We’re committed to progressing our knowledge, refining our skills and continually improving the service and expertise we offer our customers.

It’s that time of year again…. Where we show our appreciation for the amazing Woodhead Mountain Rescue Team.

For a number of years we have shown our appreciation for the amazing and selfless work of the team, by giving their trailer an annual service.
This year Matty P went the extra mile and gave it a thorough clean so it’s not only safe and legal to tow… but looks the part too 🪣🧼🧽

Sometimes you just have to blow your own trumpet and say we are proud of ourselves and the team at Barnsley Towbar Centre . A lot of years and effort have been spent building and shaping the business into what it is now .
