Came in because the customer wanted me to run my eye over the suspension as he didn’t feel it was right…..

The front shock was near enough seized up 😅

A nice new YSS fitted and it’s good to go 👌

Here’s something that’s easy to forget…

When we attend bike nights and events, we’re not just there to set up bikes — we’re also there to offer advice and share our knowledge, whether that’s suspension upgrades or servicing your own bike.

This chap wasn’t confident stripping his upside-down forks but wanted to do it himself. After a quick Picasso-style sketch, he left feeling a little more confident about tackling the job. 👍

For those who are new to KBS Motorsport, here’s a quick introduction to who we are and what we do.

We’re a small, family-run business built from the ground up, with a genuine passion for motorcycles and racing. We’ve been working on bikes from a young age, both in the workshop and around the racing paddock.

Our experience in suspension started when Kaine left school in 2016 and began an apprenticeship with Öhlins, where he developed his knowledge and skills within the suspension industry. After gaining years of experience, KBS Motorsport was born.

Today, we specialise in motorcycle suspension and servicing, offering everything from routine maintenance to suspension setup and specialist work.
