🚨 If a vehicle number plate can be cloned, how else can we identify the vehicle?

A recent BBC Panorama report has highlighted the growing problem of illegal and cloned number plates, including so-called “ghost plates” designed to evade conventional ANPR cameras.

New camera trials on motorways in south-east England have reportedly detected thousands of illegal plates, with one test location recording more than 1,000 ghost plates a day.

🚗 11 Nissan Jukes were stolen in 24 hours last week in Caerphilly - a reminder of the importance of vehicle security.

When vehicles are recovered with cloned plates, missing identification numbers or false registration plates, identifying them can be challenging and proving ownership next to impossible.
