Whats to love about being a driving instructor?

Being part a community of amazing like minded individuals all joining together to support each other through what is….a self-employed sole journey.

The driving instructors association I am part of, BDDI (Blackburn Driving Instructors), helps make this job so much more inclusive.

Why is it so very dangerous to drive close to wagons? Well….take a watch of this video 👇

It’s a few minutes long BUT really highlights what happens when a car hits the back of a truck/trailer here in the UK

It’s a real eye opener as to why we see fatalities when a wagon is involved.

Your 2 Second gap is a MINIMIUM SAFE DISTANCE to keep you alive!

In the USA you are much more likely to survive a 35mph collision in...

Another amazing review 😇

How does it happen? Easy….patience and commitment. Every new driver that leaves me has the knowledge, skills and behaviours to go onto a lifetime of driving where they continue to build confidence through experience.

We dont just learn to ‘pass a test’. We practice all types of roads including dual carriageways and motorways (including the use of cruise control). All types of parking (not just the basics for the test) and as many awkward and challenging scenarios we can find (be great to have Harry Potter’s wand though to magic up an ambulance, cyclist and broken traffic lights all at once 🤓).

Although, it was made so much more difficult by the lack of signals at roundabouts by other drivers 😡

Please do remember all…….signals are not for you! they are for other road users. Not using your signals is simply lazy and selfish.
